June 15th is the deadline to register for Data Science in Action – a two-week summer day camp that will introduce high school students to machine learning and programming.
The course consists of lectures covering conceptual level statistical, machine learning and programming components. Students will work on a project in which they program various machine learning algorithms to recognize images and make a self-driving toy car. In parallel they will be introduced to the Python programming language, which will allow them to implement the concepts they have studied.
See website for more info and to register. Please help share with anyone who may be interested.
