The Harvard Department of Statistics, Department of Biostatistics, and the Harvard Data Science Initiative are sponsoring Data Adventure Day held at the Harvard University Science Center on Friday, November 8th from 9:30am to 2:00pm. This event is designed to expose ~100 public high school students to statistics and data science through hands-on activities and interactions with Harvard students, faculty, and staff. Our event celebrates the contributions of statisticians and data scientists from underrepresented groups, including women and people of color, and supports efforts to enhance diversity and inclusion in these fields.
