“I’m here to ask the committee to hold EPA accountable to its mission and its duty to American families who expect laws will be implemented, science will be followed and people can engage in decisions that matter to their children’s health.”
—Gina McCarthy, Harvard C-CHANGE Director, during house testimony
On June 11, Our Director Gina McCarthy joined three other former EPA Administrators to testify about the past, present, and future of EPA. The panel, which represented EPA leadership under Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. and George W. Bush, and Barack Obama, presented a unified message that the current actions of EPA pose a grave threat to public health.
The hearing was hosted by the House Energy and Commerce’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.
