Alberto Montrond, MA

Mr. Montrond is a Senior Preparedness Fellow in the DPTLD at the Harvard Chan School. He acquired his professional and knowledge in the field of public service and politics at College of the Holy Cross, MA. He obtained a master’s degree in international relations (GMAP) from the Fletcher School at TUFTS University.  From 2016 to 2021 he has been a deputy Member of Parliament for the Republic of Cape Verde representing the diaspora community in the Americas. Mr. Montrond contributes to policy analysis for the EPREP program and is the liaison between the research team and government officials and community-based organizations in projects with a focus on human trafficking and community safety.
