Interactive Mapping of Greater Boston Social Service and Violence Prevention Resources

In 2018, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health initiated a project, sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate to create an interactive map of Greater Boston social services for violence prevention. The goal of this project is to create a mobile platform to share information among community leaders, violence prevention service providers, including law enforcement, clergy,  other community-based organizations, and citizens of the many resources currently available in support of communities affected by high rates of violence. Resources are identified thorough interviews and engagement of community leaders. The ultimate goal of the mapping tool is to connect practitioners and citizens with available services and initiatives.
