Legacy of Slavery: Film, Debrief, and Discussion – For Employees

In April 2022, Harvard University published the Harvard & Legacy of Slavery Report detailing the university’s ties to slavery and the slavery economy. A short film accompanying the report was also produced by Harvard, which provides an overview of core themes and contents contained within the report.

During this program, we will hold a film screening followed by facilitated dialogue and group discussion. Following the group dialogue, race-based affinity debrief groups will be offered for further processing as well.

The conversations will be facilitated by professional staff from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
