Robert “Bobby” Iacoviello (left) and Eric “E” Anderson are two of Transformational Prison Project’s coordinators, facilitators, and circle-keepers. They are both systems-impacted people with more than 20 years of Restorative Justice (RJ) experience between the two. They have spoken and participated in RJ circles at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution in Norfolk, MA (MCI-Norfolk), where they learned the practice and became experts in RJ. The process of sharing our different experiences through stories allows us to address some of the underlying issues impacting our sense of community, the connections we hold, and how we grow and heal together. Bobby and Eric have brought their practice into many different settings including Harvard University, Vermont School of Law, Boston College Law School, Northeastern University, Roxbury District Court’s Choice Program, and the Vera Institute. Their workshops and training include an Introduction to Restorative Justice, circle facilitation, and intervention circles designed to interrupt the Cradle to Prison Pipeline.
