Reuse Room

The Reuse Room accepts office supplies and lab equipment that can be reused by students, faculty, and staff. Inventory changes frequently.

Current offerings include:

Office supplies: binders and paper dividers, labels, hanging file folders, other folders, padded envelopes, name badges and inserts, tent cards, 3-hole punches, legal-size paper, bookends, magazine holders, paper sorting trays, paperclips.

Lab equipment: chromatography supplies, cuvettes, lancets, slides, lab shelves, and other equipment.

Bring your donations and pick up items for free. No donation is required to shop.

Open Wednesdays, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Please note: The Reuse Room hours will be 10:30 am-12:30 pm on April 10, 2024.

The Reuse Room is located in SPH BLDG 01, Loading Dock Room (near the mail center).

Take the BLDG 01 elevator to the basement (B) and follow the signs.

Rules

  • Please donate items during opening hours only. Do not dump items outside of door when room is not open.
  • No large or heavy items are accepted.
  • No broken or soiled items are accepted.
  • No electronics are accepted at this time.
  • Lab equipment donations:
    • Must be decontaminated and have an EH&S decontamination form attached.
    • Glassware must be cleaned and autoclaved before drop-off.
    • No chemicals or perishables are allowed.
  • Prior to donating any expensive equipment or anything with a Capital Equipment Sticker please contact ecoop@hsph.harvard.edu to confirm if the equipment can be donated and next steps.
