Arvind is a Principal with PwC’s Integrated Health Solutions Risk Assurance practice and leads the healthcare payer and provider Advanced Risk and Compliance offerings. He has over 25 years of experience in working in healthcare focused on regulatory compliance, data analytics, data governance, EHR transitions and strategic transformation programs.
Arvind leads a team which works with clients to implement analytics and advanced technological solutions related to internal audit, compliance, revenue cycle, EHR controls and implementation testing, fraud and regulatory assessment and reporting. Arvind has led and managed large scale technology implementations and transformations. Arvind’s key business skills include: P&L Leadership ($0.5 B), Growth/Business Development (Global), Innovation, Strategy (Markets, Products), Complex Program Management, M&A (Due Diligence, Integration) and Vendor Sourcing & Management. Arvind’s key technical skills include: HIT including EMR (EPIC, Cerner, eCW), Healthcare Informatics, Data & Analytics, Cybersecurity, MedMal Platform (Pega), Risk Intelligence (Analytics), Patient Safety Playbooks for HIT, and Patient Safety Organizations (PSO).
Arvind joins us from Harvard Medical Institutions (CRICO/RMF) where he was Senior Vice President of Technology and Alliances at the Risk Management Foundation (RMF). Arvind spearheaded major strategic initiatives for RMF building cutting edge technological solutions to reduce institutional risk and promote patent safety across all Harvard-affiliated medical institutions. He won support and capital by architecting a technology-enabled underwriting, claims and risk management platform using analytics and leveraging cross-institutional data to mitigate risks and improve patient safety.
Arvind earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras and later earned a Master’s of Science in Engineering Management from Northeastern University.
