Elizabeth A. Mort, MD, MPH

Elizabeth Mort is a practicing general internist who is nationally recognized for her expertise in quality & safety and performance management. She is the Senior Vice President of Quality and Safety and Chief Quality Officer at Massachusetts General Hospital and Massachusetts General Physicians Organization. Dr. Mort also serves as Senior Medical Director at Partners HealthCare. Dr. Mort completed her residency in primary care internal medicine at MGH in 1986, a fellowship at the Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School in 1991, and a Masters in Public Health at the University of Michigan in 1982. Dr Mort is currently an Assistant Professor in both the Department of Medicine and Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School. Her areas of interest include quality measurement and performance management.
