Howard Brightman, ScD, PE, CSP, CIH

Howard Brightman is the Senior Director of the Enterprise Project Management Office at Boston Children’s Hospital. A lean six sigma black belt, he combines industrial hygiene and continuous improvement techniques to design highly reliable systems that increase safety, improve flow, and reduce waste. Recent projects have included implementation of real time location systems for cleaning and tracking of medical equipment, optimization of operating room and ambulatory patient flow, revenue cycle, patient access and improved response to fires and chemical spills.
