Patricia George is a free-lance consultant, strategic advisor and lean leader with extension operational and strategic experience in health information technology. Over the past 20 years she has developed and implemented enterprise wide information technology solutions, cultivated high-value teams and demonstrated her ability to work cross-functionally as a high impact leader.

As the Deputy CIO at UMass Memorial Healthcare, she co-developed the IS strategic plan and organizational governance structure while rebuilding relationships with the key leaders and physicians. As CIO at North Shore Medical Center, she implemented governance and prioritization, modernized an outdated infrastructure and rebuilt an underperforming IT team into a trusted delivery partner for the organization. Ms. George was the lead architect for a pioneer health information exchange connecting a Boston-based AMC hospital with affiliated health centers and has led multiple innovation projects from inception, through rapid development to sustainable operationalization. She is six-sigma trained and has repeatedly created world-class teams capable of exceptional and cost effective outcomes.

Ms. George is a lecturer at Harvard University School of Public Health and serves as a technology advisor to the Hospice of Greater Boston. She holds an undergraduate degree in Health Systems Management from the University of Connecticut.
