Paul A. Lofrumento

Paul Lofrumento is the Sr. Director of the Musculoskeletal Service line and the Center of Excellence and Ambulatory at UMassMemorial Medical Center and has been extensively involved in the development of service line management as well as the transition to value based purchasing through the development and implementation of episode-based payment programs for total joints and spine fusions and ACO operations.

Paul holds a degree in Radiology Technology from Albany Medical center and is an active participant and presenter with UHC and in addition currently serves as a subject matter expert for the Post-Acute Care for TJR Improvement Collaborative. In addition, Paul has developed and implemented automated ambulatory scorecards to objectively use data to analyze and monitor operational and productive performance in the ambulatory setting at UMMMC. Paul has participated in LEAN training and has lead several A3/project improvement initiatives with the medical center to improve performance.
