Tucker O’Day, MS, MSPT

Tucker O’Day graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics/Bachelor of Arts in French and a Concentration in Business Administration. She worked for ten years in the not-for-profit sector in both foundation and not-for-profit director positions before choosing to pursue a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine.
After obtaining her Masters degree, she worked as a physical therapist for Massachusetts General Hospital in orthopaedics and as an Ergonomics Specialist for local Boston occupational healthcare organizations providing a wide range of ergonomic services across all industries, including manufacturing, biotech, hotel/restaurant, dental, office/administrative and construction.
In 2003, Tucker implemented the first ergonomics program for Partners Healthcare. Since then, she has grown the scope of the program to include supporting 60,000 Partners employees located in and around the Greater Boston area. She currently manages operations for the program and participates in additional employee injury prevention and health and wellness initiatives at Partners.
She has completed a Master of Science in Occupational Ergonomics and Safety at University of Massachusetts – Lowell and is preparing for her Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) Certification.
