Algorithms and the Future of Work

John Howard, MD, MPH, JD, Director of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health will be with us on April 3rd. His presentation is co-sponsored by the Harvard Chan Education and Research Center (ERC) the Harvard Chan Center for Work, Health and Well-being. During his presentation in the Monday ERC Seminar Series, Dr. Howard will discuss algorithms that are embedded in workplaces, describe the risks related to health, safety and well-being of workers from algorithms operating in the work environment, and explain the various ways that algorithmic risks can be addressed. He will met with students and residents for an informal session probably after the seminar. Please stay tuned for more information about time and place for the student meeting.
