Health and Safety Aspects in Laboratory Design: Prevention Thru Design

Speaker: Lou DiBerardinis, MS, CIH, CSP. Director, Environment, Health, and Safety, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and instructor, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Details: Lou Diberardinis will discuss the process for incorporating health and safety into laboratory design and describe the key health and safety features in laboratory design. He will also discuss the consequences of poor laboratory design. This seminar is a quick precis of what will be covered in upcoming Guidelines for Laboratory Design offered by the Executive Continuing Professional Education Program (ECPE) in collaboration with the Harvard Chan ERC June 12-16, 2023, in person at HSPH.
