Speakers: Nancy Lessin, M.S., Senior Staff for Strategic Initiatives, United Steelworkers and Tony Mazzocchi, Center for Health, Safety and Environmental Education (retired), National COSH Advisor.

Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to 1) discuss two competing theories of workplace injury causation; 2) describe the U.S. legal context for workplace safety and health committees; 3) list two types of workplace safety and health committees; and to 4) explain several factors that increase the effectiveness of workplace safety and health committees.
