Abortion After Roe: Getting the Facts re Abortion Methods, Technologies, & Access, and Countering Misinformation

Liz Janiak, ScD (she/her) will answer questions about abortion access in the United States today and following the anticipated reversal of the Roe v Wade precedent this spring/summer. An Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and the Chan School, Dr. Janiak is an expert in domestic abortion epidemiology, access issues, and related health inequities.
She will answer questions regarding when, where, and how people can terminate pregnancies now and in the future. Please come prepared with any questions about abortion methods and technologies, clarifications of (mis)statements you may have heard in the media, questions about the groups most affected, and any other queries related to abortion access. There will be no legal experts at this panel, so legal interpretation will be limited to describing other scholars’ opinions.
