Barbers are helping Black men talk about mental health

In communities with healthcare inequities, The Confess Project works to improve mental health access by recognizing that the barbershop is an important social hub in Black communities. The project trains barbers in therapy-backed techniques to encourage Black men to open up about their mental health.
