The Lee Kum Sheung Center for Health and Happiness invites you to “Applying the Health Capability Profile,” presented by Dr. Jennifer Prah Ruger, the Amartya Sen Professor of Health Equity, Economics, and Policy and Professor of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania

Dr. Prah Ruger is a leading scholar of global and domestic health policy and public health. She directs the Health Equity and Policy Lab (HEPL) at the University of Pennsylvania, a mixed methods lab that studies health policy and public health problems such as the equity and efficiency of health system access, financing, resource allocation, policy reform and the social determinants of health. Her research is conducted internationally and nationally, including work in Ghana, India, Indonesia, Malawi, Malaysia, Morocco, South Korea, South Africa, the United States and Vietnam.

This seminar is part of the Lee Kum Sheung Center for Health and Happiness seminar series. The event is free and open to the public. This year’s theme is health equity and positive well-being. Please email centerhealthappiness@hsph.harvard.edu with any questions.
