Please join the Department of Global health and Population this Thursday, December 2nd  from 1-2pm EST via zoom for the next installment in the Brown Bag Seminar Series: Who Cares for Health Worker’s Mental Health: The Namibian Front Line Health Workers Initiative

This seminar will speak to the effects of COVID-19 on the mental health of health workers and an Intervention which provides the necessary psycho-social support during and after COVID-19. The seminar is free and open to all.

Featuring Julieta Kavetuna, MPHIL, LEAD fellow of the 2021-22 cohort at the Harvard Global Health Institute and the Women and Health Initiative at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Julieta is an activist who promotes gender equity and the provision of quality health care for all, especially in the area of mental health and has spent more than 13 years as a parliamentarian. Julieta has been Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Youth, and also the Ministry of Health and Social Services. She is a Registered Nurse and holds a diploma in gender and development, an Honors Public Management and Policy Planning and a Master of Philosophy in Public Mental Health.
