GHP Winter Travel Course Information Session

September 14th, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Considered part of the Spring semester, Winter Session is a special term at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health which runs for three weeks in January each year. This period provides a break from the academic routine of fall and spring semesters and offers a space for creativity and experiential learning.

The Department of Global Health and Population hosts several international travel courses during Winter Session. These experiences offer graduate students the unique opportunity to apply the academic frameworks and tools learned throughout the year in a dynamic and professional environment by simulating the work that they may engage in after graduation.

Students interested in applying for a January 2023 travel course should attend this informational meeting to learn more about each offering:

  • GHP 297 Health Reform and Community Medicine in Chile
  • GHP 542 Harvard-Brazil Collaborative Public Health Field Course
  • GHP 544 The Mexican Health System: Responding to COVID-19
