Global Cooperation and Health Stress Test: The COVID-19 Pandemic Response

February 25th, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join us on Friday, February 25 at 12:00 PM ET, for the Robert S. McNamara Lecture with Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General, and former Minister of Health and of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia. Michelle Williams, Dean of the Faculty, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, will moderate the conversation.

As we enter the third year of the pandemic, we look at the global response to COVID-19, the varied responses seen around the world, how we can design and build stronger global health architecture, and, above all, achieve health equity.

Taking a deeper look into the larger impact of COVID-19 around the world, we can understand the need for a comprehensive response to the pandemic, from adherence to public health measures to implementation of vaccination programs, and how this in turn has affected public health and health systems.

This event is co-sponsored by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
