About the Speaker
Matt Tobey, MD, MPH, is an internal medicine physician and the Director of the Rural Medicine Programs at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). He provides primary and hospital care at the Rosebud Service Unit of the Indian Health Service, founded the MGH Fellowship Program in Rural Health Leadership, and directs MGH’s partnerships with the Indian Health Service and the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. His interests include rural health, Indigenous community health partnerships, care for substance use disorders, and care for individuals who are incarcerated.
