International Women’s Day Event

In-person (with lunch) or over Zoom, for this International Women’s Day (IWD), March 8th 2022, join the Women, Gender and Health Interdisciplinary concentration to learn about the radical history of IWD, its deep ties to issues of gender, work & health justice. After an introduction to the history of International Women’s Day by the chair of WGH, and a brief presentation by June Barnett, representing the National Domestic Workers Alliance, speakers from co-sponsoring groups will briefly share what this day means for them.
