Lights, Camera, and Well-being: Workstation Solutions for Working from Home

March 11th, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm

As we approach the year-mark of many more people around the world working from home in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is clear that working remotely is here to stay – and that home office furniture may need to be adjusted to provide a healthier and more productive work space.

In this interactive 45-minute webinar, Professor Jack Dennerlein, Associate Director for the Center for Work, Health, and Well-being, will outline four key principles to consider when setting up your work space at home.

Key highlights will include:

  • Explore the four key principles to consider when evaluating your work space at home, including support, visual access, reach, and lighting
  • Best practices for creating an ergonomically supportive work-from-home experience, even when there are limitations in the home environment
  • Q&A session with direct access to Harvard faculty who specializes in occupational safety and health.

If you are interested in diving deeper into improving employee health, Prof. Dennerlein will be co-directing an online continuing education course Work Health and Well-being: Achieving Worker Health on May 3 – 6, 2021. Learn more here: https://hsph.me/2d9
