Title: Periconceptional micronutrient supplementation and pregnancy loss in rural Bangladesh: The JiVitA-5 Trial

Description

Antenatal multiple micronutrient supplementation (MMS) can reduce adverse pregnancy outcomes, is recommended by WHO where deficiencies exist, and is on the Essential Medicines List. However, it remains unknown whether starting MMS preconceptionallycan improve pregnancy outcome. All mothers received open-labeled MMS thereafter. Initial findings will be presented and discussed.
