Event Description:

Veteran homelessness has been a concern for decades. While there has been great progress in reducing the numbers, there are still about 37,000 veterans experiencing homelessness. Needs in this population can be substantial, and how to best address those needs in a timely way is not well known. Dr. McInness will discuss work he and colleagues have been doing examining how different technologies (primarily mobile phones) can be used to help identify and address unmet needs in this population.
