Refining Nutrient Supplementation Strategies in Pregnancy in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: This seminar will explore the latest evidence on nutrient supplementation strategies in pregnancy in low-and middle income country settings. Highlights of the presentation will include recent findings from trials of calcium supplementation for the prevention of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and preterm birth in addition to new research on refining global prenatal iron and multiple micronutrient supplementation strategies.

Speakers’ remarks are based on their own scholarship and experience. As such, they speak for themselves, not for Harvard.
