Title: Meeting Nutrient Needs During the First 1000 Days: Challenges and Opportunities

Description: This presentation will describe the challenges in meeting nutrient needs during the first  1000 days, from pregnancy through the first two years of life, and opportunities to address nutrient intake shortfalls. It will describe the findings of an individual participant data metaanalysis of 14 randomized  controlled trials of SQ-LNS for children 6-24 months of age, which showed beneficial effects across four different
outcomes of child health, including growth, development, anemia and mortality.
