Reimagining the childbirth experience

January 29th @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm

With an abysmally high rate of maternal mortality, the U.S. faces an urgent need to rethink care of pregnant people, particularly within communities of color. The solutions are not always expensive or high-tech. Our panelists will share insights into surprisingly simple — but strikingly effective — ways to save lives, including embracing the role of doulas and elevating the patient voice at key decision points during labor.
