Abstract: This presentation will review risk factors for late-life depression and describe methods for evaluating the risk architecture of late-life depression. Late-life depression is a common condition, and it is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. This presentation will present strategies for late-life depression prevention. A recent example of a late-life depression prevention large-scale randomized trial will be described.
