Roe in Limbo: A Townhall on the Leaked Dobbs Opinion

May 12th, 2022 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Event Description

The leak of a draft opinion for Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization has shocked the country. The leak is an unprecedented violation of Supreme Court procedure. More importantly, should the finalized opinion hew closely to the leaked draft the right to abortion will lose its current constitutional protection. Join us for a townhall chat with Petrie-Flom Center Faculty Director, James A. Attwood and Leslie Williams Professor of Law and Deputy Dean I. Glenn Cohen and legal historian and Daniel P.S. Paul Visiting Professor of Constitutional Law Mary Ziegler as we explore the leaked Dobbs opinion and its implications if it becomes law. Audience questions, especially from law students and other graduate students at Harvard, are strongly encouraged.
