SCOTUS Revisits Abortion: Legal Strategies in Dobbs Oral Arguments
December 6th, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Event Description
On December 1, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral argument in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, a case involving a Mississippi law that would ban abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The Court’s ruling in this case has the potential to overturn the nearly fifty-year precedent of Roe v. Wade. Just days after oral arguments, the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics and the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study will host amici and other law scholars to discuss the legal strategies used in the case. Please join us for the discussion, which will be held over Zoom, on Monday, December 6th at 12 pm ET.
