The fight for gender-affirming health care

June 22nd, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Transgender health care is under attack. Numerous states have passed or are considering bans and limitations on gender-affirming care for youth—and in some cases, for adults. The bans have put trans youth at the center of a culture war in which their physical health, emotional wellbeing, and sense of self hangs in the balance. And legal restrictions are just the most visible of the many barriers that transgender people face. Our panelists will explain how doctors, policymakers, activists, and allies are responding in this critical moment and will describe measures to protect access to safe, effective, and medically necessary care.  Register for free to submit your questions.
