Type 1 Diabetes Hackathon for Africa

April 30th, 2022 @ 8:00 am - May 1st, 2022 @ 3:00 pm

Professor Rifat Atun

The Harvard Health Systems Innovation Lab is organizing a hackathon focusing on digital innovations to improve Type One Diabetes care in Africa.

We are collaborating with the Global Collaborative for Changing Diabetes in Children (CDIC). CDIC is an initiative founded in 2009 which provides medicines and services to children with diabetes in a range of LMICs worldwide.

The aim of the hackathon is to bring together individuals with a diverse range of backgrounds and expertise – clinicians, academics, tech – to generate innovative solutions to specific problems in diabetes care in LMICs. It will be a hybrid event with attendees participating both in-person and remotely from around the world.

This promises to be a really unique and exciting event. Attendance is free.

See you there!
