The Michael Von Clemm Traveling Fellowship Fund

Harvard Chan School of Public Health has modest funds available to partially support students traveling abroad. Travel must be directly associated with academic courses, supervised thesis work, or academic program – related internships.

Eligible students are U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents who are completing their first year (in a continuing degree program) at Harvard Chan and who are studying health problems in developing countries

Students who will graduate from Harvard Chan on May 26, 2022 and November 8, 2022 are not eligible. All requests for support must be signed by a faculty member who endorses the academic relevance of the project.

Students are asked to submit a request for assistance to the Harvard Chan Office of Financial Aid (financialaid@hsph.harvard.edu ). Applications must be submitted by Monday, April 25, 2022 in order to be considered for funding. Decisions will be made and communicated to selected students by May 3, 2022.
