Poonam serves as the Executive Director at the Population Foundation of India. She received her Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. She has over 35 years of experience in promoting women’s rights, rural livelihoods, public advocacy, communications and behavior change. She conceived and promoted the popular Indian multi-media initiative, Mai Kuch bhi kar sakti hoon-I, A Woman, Can Do Anything.
