Office of Global Partnerships

The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health has numerous engagements in a wide range of important scientific and policy areas across the world. To enhance the impact of its collaborative research, capacity building and knowledge translation activities in China, India, and Africa, the School has established regional partnerships to act as coordinating and convening mechanisms. In 2015, the School opened the Office of Global Partnerships to support the regional partnerships and leverage opportunities for cross-regional activities. The Office is anchored in the Department of Global Health and Population and with oversight from the Associate Director. Faculty with major global engagement across Harvard Chan’s academic departments serve in an advisory capacity, providing strategic guidance on the Office’s mission and activities.

Current regional School-wide initiatives include:

China Health Partnership

Africa Health Partnership

India Health Partnership

Cross-regional collaborations include:

China-Harvard-Africa Network, a Tripartite Partnership in Health (CHAN Partnership)
