The case-fatality among preterm newborns in Ethiopia is approximately 25%. Through an adaptive intervention study design, we developed and tested iterative delivery models to improve KMC coverage in Ethiopia so that 80% of all preterm babies received this life-saving intervention in a catchment of 1,000,000 people. The study was conducted in collaboration with FMoH and Addis Ababa University.
