Abdi Wakene worked with the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupation Safety and Health (MassCOSH) during his time here in the Boston area, on projects related to heat stress in schools and COVID-19 testing for students in need. As a member of the HaSET team, Abdi has been able to assist on data cleaning for the Birhan project and other data analysis work.
