Anna Yang was born and raised in Beijing and graduated from Johns Hopkins University majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Public Health Studies. Anna is particularly interested in maternal and child health and would like to become a physician-scientist in the future. As a student researcher, Anna worked with the BARNARDS dataset, performing survival analysis and exploring etiology of neonatal sepsis.
