When Hayat Alkadir joined HaSET, she was an undergraduate at Harvard College, jointly concentrating in the History of Science and African Studies with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. Her previous work looked at insulin sensitivity and identified genetic markers and biological pathways associated with different patterns of glucose response curves. Hayat looked forward to delving into epidemiological work in Ethiopia with the data analysis team at HaSET.
