Kimiko Van Wickle

As a research analyst, Kimi Van Wickle conducted data analysis for HaSET and its nested research studies as well as contributed to data management and study implementation. Kimi graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health with her MSPH in Global Disease Epidemiology. At graduate school, she primarily focused on mixed methods interventions in HIV prevention and control in Uganda and South Africa. She has a diverse research background that includes epidemiology and infectious disease research as well as qualitative work in medical anthropology. She is especially interested in maternal health and conducting research about maternal mortality and morbidity situated in the context of gender equity.
