Matthew Kennedy

As a research assistant with HaSET, Matt Kennedy provided operational and research support to HaSET and its nested research studies. Matt grew up in New Hampshire, and has spent the past four years pursuing Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Child Development at Tufts University. Prior to working with HaSET, he worked as an intern for The Home for Little Wanderers, a child and family services agency in Boston. He supported their permanency initiative by researching the impact of toxic stress on child development for children involved in the foster care system. Matt began working with Dr. Grace Chan in September 2017 as a research intern in the Division of Medicine Critical Care at Boston Children’s Hospital. Since then, Matt has supported various tasks including literature reviews, BIRHAN questionnaire development on ODK, BIRHAN data quality assessment, and a scoping systematic review as an intern and research assistant. Matt began his medical education in the fall of 2020.
