Anne-Josée Guimond, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research aims to understand how positive and detrimental aspects of psychological functioning impact the incidence of age-related conditions (e.g., cardiometabolic disease, cognitive decline) and the maintenance of optimal physical health through modifiable biological and behavioral factors. Her work is supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
Dr. Guimond received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Université Laval (Canada), where her doctoral thesis focused on the role of emotion regulation in psychological adjustment to breast cancer. She is a licensed psychologist in Québec, Canada, with expertise in health psychology, anxiety, mood, and sleep disorders.
