Arthur C. Brooks, PhD, MPhil, MA

Dr. Arthur C. Brooks is Professor of the Practice of Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School and Arthur C. Patterson Faculty Fellow at the Harvard Business School. His research interests include conservatism, free enterprise, and philanthropy.

Before joining the Harvard faculty in July of 2019, he served as president of the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a public policy think tank in Washington, DC. Dr. Brooks became the 11th president of AEI and held the Beth and Ravenel Curry Chair in Free Enterprise. He holds a PhD and MPhil in public policy analysis from the Rand Graduate School.
