Why has the Center created a repository of resilience measures?
Measuring psychological resilience systematically across studies can enable harmonized population-level research on this phenomenon. To this end, the Center has compiled a list of key resilience-related measures that have been used in scientific research to date. These include measures that define resilience:
- As a trait-like individual capacity;
- As a set of social, psychological, and environmental factors that promote resilience;
- As an outcome that can be derived from other measures
