Nathan Shlobin

Nathan A. Shlobin, BA, is a third-year MD/MBA student at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Kellogg School of Management. His subspecialty interest is in neurosurgery, while his topical interests are global health, health policy, decision science, ethics, and health systems and biotechnological innovation. Nathan is currently a Global Surgery, Obstetrics, Trauma, and Anesthesia fellow at the G4 Alliance; Secretariat team member of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies, and Vice President of Advocacy of the Global Surgery Student Alliance. He is also an Associate Editor for Systematic Reviews and BMC Health Services Research, as well as an editorial intern for Healthcare: The Journal of Delivery Science and Innovation, World Neurosurgery, and the Journal of Global Neurosurgery. Nathan is excited to be part of the Health Systems Innovation Lab because of opportunities to generate novel strategies to improve the delivery, financing, and governance of healthcare nationally and globally. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys playing hockey, traveling, and listening to music
