1. Completion of 8.75 credits of core course requirements in foundations, ethics, methods, strategic planning / leadership and essentials of humanitarian action; relevant electives are encouraged.

- GHP 537: Field Methods in Humanitarian Crises I
- GHP 515: International Humanitarian Response
- GHP 518: International Humanitarian Response II
*Student may substitute this course with other courses with Faculty Director’s approval. Examples include GHP 545: Humanitarian Negotiation on the Frontline and GHP 243: Conducting Negotiations on the Frontline.
2. Completion of respective MPH, DrPH and home department Master degree requirements
3. Fulfillment of MPH / Master / DrPH level culminating activities (e.g., practicum, thesis) with a focus on evaluation and critical assessments of humanitarian efforts
